Fringe Season 3: Where Are We Going Now?

So, I've just read that they may possibly be filming the birth of Fauxlivia's child (the offspring of Peter Bishop), in Chinatown, in a shop, and it got me thinking a whole number of things:

• Why would she be giving birth in a shop in Chinatown, with all that fantastic technology surrounding them?
• Why is the child coming so soon?

It got me speculating, on where the rest of the season is going. So, I thought I'd share my thoughts on it:

So far, we know that whilst Fauxlivia was over on "Our Side", she and Peter engaged in a relationship, and at several points, they engaged in sex. Fauxlivia returned to the "Other Side" and our Olivia came home. Now, Peter is trying to put the pieces back together with Olivia, whilst at the same time, moving about, killing Shapeshifters, and trying to uncover the mystery behind why he is the only source of power for the "Machine" that Walternate is building to end our Universe.

What I recently thought about, was how Fauxlivia, and Walternate are going to do, coping with this situation. He is off course, the Grandfather of the child; but, I think that is where the complications are going to appear. 

This baby, could in fact be a form of Messiah to the Alternate Universe; a replacement for Peter. I mean, the child will obviously share the same genes as Peter, his father, so, why not?

Walternate could start testing Fauxlivia, with her believing that they are merely check-ups, by the best doctors. But, what he is really doing, is accelerating the pregnancy. It is when Walter, Peter, and Olivia arrive over on the "Other Side" to protect the child from Walternate, that she realises that she is under threat, and they take to the streets, being pursued by Walternate's people. However, Fauxlivia goes into labor, and they stop inside a shop in Chinatown where she gives birth.

That's all I have right now, but, I think I could be on to something.
